Participation
Our technology division, Greenfield LABS, operates infrastructure in various blockchain projects.
Particularly for early-stage projects, it’s crucial to have early operational and technical support when launching test- or mainnet networks. Greenfield LABS ensures proper support during network operations, including coordinating upgrades and other critical blockchain lifecycle events. We also actively participate in project governance and community calls during those phases and beyond.
Currently, we are active as part of the seed validators set for Nym, Q Blockchain, Seda, and others. This includes running validators and managing other critical components such as oracle, archive, API nodes and protocol specific types of nodes.
_Selection of infrastructure we are running for various projects
Type | Description | Portfolio |
---|---|---|
Validator Nodes | Responsible for verifying transactions and maintaining the integrity of a blockchain network | Nym Q Seda |
Oracle Nodes | Provide external data to smart contracts on a blockchain, enabling them to interact with real-world events and information | Stakewise |
API Nodes | Provide access to blockchain data and functionality through an API without running a full node | Nym |
Full Nodes | Store a complete copy of the blockchain’s transaction history and participate in validating transactions and blocks, ensuring the network’s integrity and security | Nym |
Archive Nodes | Additionally store historical states of the blockchain at any given block height | Stroom |
Keyper Nodes | Responsible for generating encryption/decryption keys to secure network transactions and prevent malicious MEV | Shutter |
Root Nodes | Monitor operations happening on the Q blockchain layer, ensuring complinace with the Q constitution | Q |
_Current uptime showcases
For the following exemplary projects, Greenfield Labs is part of the seed validators set for both testnet and mainnet networks.
Project | Description | Uptime |
---|---|---|
Nym | An overlay network that provides strong network-level anonymity | Explorer |
Seda | A multichain, permissionless protocol connecting real-world data to any network on-chain | Explorer |
Q | A L1 blockchain and DAO adding layers for consensus, governance and enforcement to smart contracts | Explorer |
